Short version: Madwackd Picks is a monthly feature for standout videos made with Madwackd Studio. People on our team choose them using the criteria below. Nobody can pay for a pick, entering is free, and we only feature a video after its creator says yes in writing.

How are Madwackd Picks chosen?
Each month, people on our team watch the videos nominated that month and pick the ones that stand out. A person decides, not an algorithm, and not how much anyone spends with us. We look at five things, equally:

| Idea | A clear, original idea or story. Something only you would make. |
| Craft | Characters that stay consistent, sound and voice that fit, an edit that keeps moving. |
| Clarity | For ads: one message and a clear next step. For everything else: we know what it's about. |
| Heart | It makes us laugh, feel something, or want to share it. |
| Honesty | It follows our acceptable use rules and AI disclosure: no real person's face or voice without consent, no fake endorsements. |
What are the categories?
- Best ad: a spot that would make someone call, book or buy.
- Best music video
- Best comedy
- Best story: short film, trailer or series episode.
- Earth pick: a video about people, places or ideas that put life and the environment first.
We may skip a category in a month without a standout, or pick more than one when there are several.
The rules
- No paid placement. Buying a plan, credits or a done-for-you project has no effect on picks. Neither does how much you've spent.
- Free to enter. Nominating costs nothing and never will.
- Opt-in only. We feature a video only after its creator gives us written permission. Nominating isn't permission to publish; we'll ask first.
- You keep your rights. A pick doesn't transfer ownership. With your OK we show the video here and on our social channels, credited to you, and we take it down if you ask.
- Who can enter: anyone who made a video with Madwackd Studio and owns the rights to it. Nominate your own work only.
- Who can't win: Madwackd staff and their households.
- No prizes right now. A pick is a feature on this page and a shout-out, not cash or a prize. If we ever add prizes, we'll publish official rules here first.
