Early accessConsent first
Only your voice, or one you have permission to use.
Before any custom voice is made, you confirm it's your own voice or that you hold written permission from the speaker. The wording, time and a fingerprint of the sample go into your project's rights pack.
Several US states now protect a person's voice by law, so we treat consent as a hard rule.
Voice questions
Can I clone my own voice?
Yes, in early access. Record in the browser or upload a sample, tick the consent box, and confirm it's your voice.
Can I use someone else's voice?
Only with their written permission, and you'll name them in the consent step. We never make voices of celebrities or public figures.
Do the characters lip-sync?
Not yet. Lip-sync is on the roadmap. Today, voiceovers play over the video, and the video model can generate short spoken lines itself.
Which voice engines do you use?
We use leading commercial text-to-speech providers through their business APIs, behind one voice layer, so we can pick the best voice for each job.
