Why it matters to us
It started with a kid hugging trees in Boulder.
Our founder, Zach Wennstedt, grew up in Boulder, Colorado, hugging trees and spending every chance he got outside. The environment and our children's future matter deeply to him, and that doesn't switch off when the work turns to technology.
AI is a powerful tool. It can waste a lot, or it can do a lot of good. We want Madwackd Studio on the good side of that line, and we want to be honest about what that means today and what it doesn't yet.

Renders use prepaid credits, and every render is priced before it starts. You approve the quote first, so compute isn't burned on surprise or abandoned renders.
Caps that stop runaway spending
Project budget caps and daily spend limits are built into a no-loss design, so generation can't run away on its own, for your wallet or for the planet.
